Can anyone give me detailed instructions to take apart a super 8 cartridge? I want to reuse it if possible.

This instructional video is pretty good. -

 

I was really lazy as a film student in the 90's and used to just cut them open with a Dremel! :lol:

Bill,

Very good video, I hadn't realised you could reuse cartridges but it makes sense.  Isn't it possible to still buy blank cartridges from Kodak? I came across a 2008 thread by Richard Tuoy in which he was organising to buy them but the min order was 168 cartridges. I have a kaccema reuseable cartridge but I would like some blank ones to try out and Wittner's price is a little steep.
