Hi,

Can you please tell me where can I get an 'easy to understand' step-by-step guide:

- to explain HD cinematography principles
- how to set up a Sony F900

I'm living in Beijing at the moment and I am about to go to Syria this week or next week to shoot a tv series on a Sony F900 for 3-4 months (I haven't found out yet what the exact model is).

I am obviously doing my own searches on the internet etc. but in case I miss something I thought I would ask.

I am quite rusty on HD 'principles' as well as setting up Sony cameras and I don't have my copy of Paul Wheeler's HD book to hand. Also because I am in China, it is quite hard getting hold of decent books etc. and an Amazon delivery will not arrive in time before I have to travel to Syria.

Can anyone recommend a decent website or .pdf file that I can use that will explain HD principles and also setting up F900 cameras by taking me through setting up the menus in an easy-to-understand manner?

I will probably have to the camera set up myself when I get to Syria....

Thanks!

I've recently come across Peter Gray's site that seems to be quite informative:
