Super 8 cartridge

I took out a super 8 cartridge mid film because the camera was playing up and put it into another, will that effect the portion exposed to light only, or the film as a whole?

only a small number of frames (5-8) will be effected. You can safely use the rest of the film.

excellent, i had a feeling it would be ok, but when i was out shooting i had a small doubt somewhere in the back of my mind, thanks
