Does anyone know if I can use an Aaton camera with internal timecode to record timecode on the Tascam HD-P2, which apparently records but does not generate timecode. If so, is there any downside to this recorder in comparison to the Fostex FR-2?

Thanks.

In case others are interested, I spoke with a US audio shop today that says that the Tascam recorder will not actually be on the market for another few weeks. The answer they gave to my question is that the Tascam recorder will work if an Aaton Origin C+ remains connected to it.
