need some help....

Is there a bit of kit that can take a PL mount lens optical output and reduce it to a c mount lens frame size.

E.g. I have a Arri PL mount lens and when I plug it into my video assist direct (via a visual products "PL to c Mount "adaptor) I get a vastly reduced field of view since the VP adaptor is a physical unit and not an optical unit (so the frame area goes from 35mm to 0.5 inch)

Is there a simple bit of kit that allows the translation - and not a mini 35 adaptor from PS Technic

thanks

Yes, there are director's viewfinders that are essentially long viewfinder tubes that accept PL (or whatever) mount lenses on the front. Most of these models now also accept a videotap camera as well. But we are talking a very expensive bit of kit. I recently saw a used one for sale for around $2500, but new expect to pay 2x-3x that.
