People in the UK have presumably seen this by now. It's a pretty audacious project, hopefully as much a romp as Tom Jones. Did they pull it off? Any purely graphic elements (e.g. a black square) incorporated? Did Zyskind shoot it or was it someone else?

The February issue of American Cinematographer has an article about this film.

Given the difficulties in adapting such a sprawling novel to the screen, they apparently decided to turn this into a film about making Tristram Shandy into a film.

Interesting comments from Marcel Zyskind. Shot on a Sony HDW-750.

Can anyone comment on whether they succeeded in capturing the spirit of the book?
