can we keep this forum secular

"I thank God for being alive today and hope all is well with everyone on here.
Just gotta finish my homework which I've been procrastinating about doing all day.
Much Love and God Bless."
Personally I'm not sure why we need a general discussion about thanksgiving (then again I'm European so it means nothing to me). I've no problem with pleasantries, but is it relevant? Either way can we refrain from non- film related religious "whatevers"? I dont care whether people believe in God, Allah, Ra or the wood nimphs at the bottom of their garden- but cinematography is a mixture of art and science, both of which have been held back, neutered, censored and destroyed through religious interference (and in many cases religion has caused imense pain and suffering to practitioners). And please dont bang on about one religion being a greater or worse cause of these problems unless you have an incredibly sound and independant historical and theological education.

Does this mean we can't talk about Wings of Desire and Days of Heaven anymore?
As I said "Either way can we refrain from non- film related religious "whatevers", more importantly, without being rude, have you actually seen Days of Heaven or did you just google religious words till you found two titles?
