1. Whats is the Difference between the XL2 and the XL2E?
2. Anyone know if these retailers are decently reliable

I know a lot of folks use B&H but I am a little slim on the funds. Anywho I am considering investing in the camera cause me and my film crew friends always like to shoot film, we mostly shoot on a DVX100A. But now Im considering to get a Cam for myself.

The XL-2 "E" is a PAL camera while the XL-2 is NTSC. I would not be inclined to buy from either of those "retailers". There is a website that rates retailers, naturally I have forgotten the name, something like www.retailerratings.com but you need to check them out before sending off your money.

This is the web site Tim was referring to:
http://www.resellerratings.com/
It's quite useful, but beware that many of these rip-off artists just start new companies with new names all the time, so that they won't have any rating, rather than a bad rating. Personally, Nobody can sell at those prices and be legitimate. The truth is, if you are paying less than $4,000 for a new XL2, you're probably being ripped-off.
