Double-perf 16mm stock is still available as a special order from Kodak or Fuji. There is no problem running single perf 16mm stock through a Bolex as far as I know, so you should be able to use any 100 ft. spools with it. The only advantage of double-perf that I can think of is in being able to turn the camera upside down, shoot normally and then turn the film upside down and have a reverse motion effect. Happy shooting!

I posted this information on the other thread:
All Bolex Reflex cameras will shoot either single or double perf film.

Older models will shoot either one if the serial number is above 76471. Below this they require double perf unless they have been modified to remove one row of teeth from both sprockets. You should not use these older cameras below serial 100401 if you want a rock-steady picture, as that is when they started using the so-called Registration Claw instead of the cam-driven claw, with a narrower film channel suited to the then-new low shrinkage film stock, to prevent weave.

I have this information and lots more on the Identifying Your Bolex articles and following pages of pictures on my website at http://www.tobincine...om/page100.html
