From what I've seen so far(link to a clip below), this film by Terrence Malick appears to be beautifully lensed, for the most part with the aid of natural light only!

This is certainly not a first for Malick's films. Days of Heaven (Nestor Almendros) and The Thin Red Line (John Toll) are, in my opinion, two of the most beautiful films of all time. I have very high hopes for the New World, but I am going to wait until after I see it to read the AC article on it.

absolutely,, love the thin red line. the only thing that makes the new world unattractive for me is collin farell :/
