ADV of using a reversal film colour & B.W IS it possible to enhance certain colours & does it need normal procesing or push processing

color in reversal black and white ? :)

i shot trix B&W once, has very limited latitude and needs special processing, had to send it down to film plus in melbourne.

Reversal has half the latitude of negative and therefore produces a much more contrasty image. It is also less expensive for stock, but can be more expensive for processing because it requires a special process (not the same as negative). If you have the money you would likely be better off shooting in neg and then creating your look in post by crushing blacks and blowing out whites. Also, with reversal you have no negatives to cut from if you're looking to go the traditional neg cutting route.

Hi, if your talking 16mm, 16mm k40 yeilds stunning reds, kodachrome also offers better archival stability and should require less colour correction in 50 years time compared to neg.
