The DP I hired ( i.e. friend with the best camera) use a Panasonic 200b. We're shooting a family feature with kids. With this camera, whats the best I can expect? My goal is to go television or straight to dvd. The story and shoot is in the vein of Honey I shrunk the kids. Can we achive this, and what are some of the things we can do to get a nice look?
Thanks
DG

Not knowing anything else about your production than the camera used, we have no idea what you're capable of. If you're looking for suggestions or advice;

-Get the story as good as you can before shooting,
-Get your lighting as good as you possibly can,
-Get the best talent you possibly can,
etc.

If you came onto a Hollywood set with that camera attached to a studio crane, you'd probably wish you had a better camera. But it's what you've got to work with, so it'll have to do.
