Dominic,

This is fun stuff! A very rhythmic editing style and clever effects. It reminds me of the days when music videos were interesting and imaginative.

Thanks for posting it.. I'm sure the Super 8 fanatics over at www.filmshooting.com would enjoy seeing this too....

Hello Dominic,

WOW!!! That was incredible. Very well done.

I like the details of the opening credits casting a shadow on the earth. Also the UFOs casting shadows in the sun light as they hover in the skyline. The UFOs exploding is also a big standout.

Keep filmming, keep getting it out there. Great stuff.

So when does the feature length version come out?

The halo effect coming off of the scientist when he was on the phone.

Was that done at the time of shooting or during editing?

Really well done. Lot's of good editing. Where did you get the processing done and the transfer? I just bought an 814 AZ (non electric) and have only put one roll of Tri-X through it so far but will be doing more as the weather breaks here in Ohio. Been in broadcasting for a long 20+ years and am looking forward to shooting lots of Super 8.

I am collecting shorts and music videos shot on Super 8, like "Poetry Man" and this one. Good examples of the work I would like to do one day.
