K3 view finder

The view finder on my K3. Is there any amount of image that is recorded on the film but isn't seen on the view finder? Or does the view finder show exactly what goes onto the film?

I believe it actually shows a bit more than is recorded. The easy way to determine this is to point it at a wall and have an assistant mark the edges of the frame as you look through the eyepiece and direct him/her as to correct placement. Then shoot some film and compare. You don't even have to get it transferred or printed--just look at the negative.
