Hi, I recently purchased an Arri 2c with a PL mount and now I am looking for a decent low cost zoom..lets say under 10K. Whats decent? I'm looking for a spherical zoom that is crisp enough for HDCAM transfers, has decent contrast, low vignetting, offers at least a T4, and isn't a such a gigantic burden that it breaks you back in the field when working solo. I have a Super 16 package with a Zeiss 12-120mm T2.4 zoom lens and I have been extremely happy with its optics and performance. I'm Curious to see what people have worked with and recommend, or not recommend for that matter? For those with feedback..I thank you in advance.

I'd say to look into a good ol' Cooke 20-100 (or an 18-100 if you can find it at that price range). Nice basic zoom workhorse.
