What light would be used for this single light source?

In this incredible scene from Road To Perdition, any ideas what type of light would be used for this shot? Perhaps a bank of 12k's??? How did Conrad Hall A.S.C. manage to get the light so white?

In this image from the ASC website you can see some of the lighting units that were used. The main lamp looks to be a large fresnel, perhaps a 20k
