Hello

I'm cinematography student and I would like to ask anyone who can help me to reply this post. I am looking for
American Cinematographer article from August 1980 issue - Photographing Stanley Kubrick's The Shining (an interview with John Alcott, DP). I just can't find it anywhere and I need it urgently. If anyone knows the link to that interview, or if anyone has it and could send it to me by email I would appreciate it.

Thank you, thank you, thank you...

Just doing a search on Yahoo! brings up some links to the Garrett Brown portion of the magazine article:

http://www.visual-me...sk/ac/page2.htm
http://www.archiviok...?main=steadicam

Here is a PDF of the issue, but I don't know if it includes both the Alcott and Garrett Brown article:

Then I guess it's not available on the web.

I have the issue at here at home - do you want me to look something up in it for you?

The ASC and AMPAS (Margaret Herrick Library) both have a way of ordering xerox copies.

Well, I need it for my graduation thesis. I looked for it all over (the city I live in), but no luck. I even contacted American Cinematographer by email, but no reply yet. I don' t live in USA, so it makes it harder for me to contact people or institutions that could help me. Can you give me some emails or web addresses?
Thank you for your trouble.

I believe the BFI library in London has back copies of the American Cinematographer magazine.

I have successfully ended my search! Just to let know anyone who would reply this post, that there is no need for it anymore.
