I am doing a paper on Toll for my film history and was having trouble finding information on his specific style as a cinematographer. If anyone has any info or links for me I would very much appreciate it. Any comments on his style in any of these movies would also be appreciated: The Last Samurai, Vanilla Sky, and Braveheart

Thanks much

You should start by reading the articles on those three movies. "American Cinematographer" ran one on each of them, and ICG Magazine I think did most of those too, and the Kodak newsletter did one on "Braveheart".
