Hello All,

Just curious if anybody has ever used a still camera to proof their studio shots, either for light reference or framing? I am also wondering what the conversion/difference would be from a Beaulieu 4408 zm2 with a 100 degree shutter(1/86) and a 6-60 zoom @24fps to a Nikon D70 or a Hasselblad 500 series with a Polaroid back. Although I am almost certain that exact results would never be attained, I would like to use a still camera as a tool for proofing and for the director to sign off on things.

Thanks,
JC

Assuming polaroid film is still being made, the system works perfectly.

I have a short page devoted to it on my Super-8mm.net website.
