i'm in the planning stages of my first 16mm short film and need some advise on which film stock to use. there are so many and the more i read up on them the more confused i get!

the film will be mainly interiors. the look i am want is a pin sharp look with vivd colours high contrast and detailed blacks and shadows, almost a comic book/technicolor look. (i know this is not a fashionable look, but it's what i would like for this subject!)

i would like one projection print but the finished film will be telecined and put onto dvd.

any advice, or suggestions would be greatly welcomed.

thanks
