I just had a roll of 200T Telecined in London ( My first time ) . It was very grainy ( They may be because the neg was a little thin ) . Also the whole think is covered in white dust marks , so much so that I could never show it to anyone serious . Tell me are white dust mark from processing or Telecine ? and is this what I should expect to see ? .

White shadow image dirt are particles on the negative. They could be picked up during processing, or any subsequent film handling. Sometimes process-related dirt is actually embedded in the emulsion, if it got on the film while it was still wet.

If the dirt is not embedded, it can usually be removed by a film cleaner. Solvent (ultrasonic), Particle Transfer Rollers, or "tacky tape" cleaners are used by labs and transfer houses.

Show the dirty transfer to the lab, and ask them to attempt another after better cleaning.
