Just managed to score a cheap Bently BX-720 projector on-line. Well, actually it's more closely resembles a small portable TV from the 70's or 80's. Looks virtually mint and unused. Even got a crap-looking Bentley camera out of the deal, all for under $20.

Anyone have one of these to say anything about it? Would the screen be good for low-fi telecine?

OOOp - looks like I got a BX-11 projector with the crap camera being the BX-720.

None of the on-line reviews are too complimentary, haha!

oh well...I guess I'll have to see first hand before I pass judgement.

Definitely not for telecine...only good for watching films with battery power. I use mine to get my film fix during power blackouts.
