I've used a scanner called URSA (at least thats how i remember it) DIAMOND for a 2k da vinci 16mm> Digi beta and miniDV telecine.
Is this Scanner any good, does it have a fairly good density range? I ask this because this one project of mine required some special brightness and highlights attention and I wasn't very impressed with the range of this one scanner.

Any body used it before?

It's a fine telecine. Getting a bit old now, but should still produce nice stuff as long as the CRT has been regularly updated, at least on 35mm. But when it comes to 16mm, nothing really beats a Spirit for sharpness.

Or a Shadow, I admit a Spirit is better, but a Shadow ain't too shabby. Include it in your search.
