I am getting my Arri 16s converted to 12v and I was wondering if any of you have anything to say about which battery belt I should get. Is there a particular brand that I should look at or anything? So any of you have this camera and a good 12v pack that you are happy with? Thanks!

People like the ones that we have for $225 including PowerSonic automatic charger: http://www.tobincine...com/page14.html .

If you will still have the double split pin socket for power you will also need an adaptation pigtail. We don't stock these any more but they can be bought for the same $105 price from Technological Cinevideo in NY. I don't think they have the little jack for grounding the torque motor, so if you are using the 400' mag you need to make sure the metal-to-metal contact is all clean.

Got one of Clive's battery belts. Never had a problem with it.

If you have the standard Arri16S power cord, it is fairly straightforward to put a four prong XLR plug on the one end, and certainly alot cheaper than the $105 for the adaption pigtail.
