Hi guys,

i have a big problem with my digital SLR which im using sometimes to pre visualize on shoots. yesterday on a photo shoot i discovered that quite a few of my pictures are very noisy and pixelated and even have stripe patters on them, which makes the pictures quite useless :(

i uploaded a sample on this page: http://www.hereticarts.com/fc/sab.htm

the file is pretty big so you can see easier what i mean.

the photo was shot in raw and the converted into uncompressed Tif, the pixel problem is also on the raw file, so it cant be a conversion problem, you can see the problem in the shadow area on the red wall or on the black clothes. anyone has an idea what could be the cause ?
it almost looks like the image was taken with an iso 3600 setting :) except it was iso200, the camera is a nikon D70 and the lens a standard 17-70mm DX Nikkor.

thanks for any idea.
