Matthews Studio Equipment has just released the first production quantities of the new MINI MAX lighting support system to rental houses and dealer/distributors in Europe, Asia and the USA.

Like its big brother MAX, MINI MAX is able to position a light fixture almost anywhere ? just on a smaller scale. Close quarters. Tight locations. Not a problem for MINI MAX. When the still or movie camera?s point of view will not allow a stand or fixture placement MINI MAX can "fly" right in making it possible to strategically place a Key, Back or Top light.

MINI MAX operates on a 105" (265cm) maximum arc from a height of 14 feet (427cm) to below the horizontal.

MINI MAX will support a 15Lb. (6.8Kg) fixture at a 9 foot (274cm) extension and will parallel up to a 9 foot (274cm) ceiling.

MINI MAX features two rocky mountain legs and an adjustable main column leg for leveling on almost any uneven surface including stairs.

MINI MAX is used instead of a boom arm or menace arm as it has a much smaller footprint and no rear projecting arms and weight bags.

MINI MAX is just one of the many new products offered from Matthews Studio Equipment. Matthews Studio Equipment is a 36-year-old manufacturer of professional grip equipment for the motion picture, television and photographic production industries. Located in Burbank, California, USA, Matthews serves the production industries in over 55 countries.
