Is a Kodak Instamatic M8 a super 8 format of just 8mm? I got one from my dad and have no documentation on it. Also how deceint a camera is it? I know it's probably low end but I know nothing about small format cameras except what I've read here. I know it was probably made in 67, 68 or 69. an that's about it. Any info would be helpful. Thanks.

It seems like your cam is a Super8 cam:

General difference:
Super8 = a cartridge load system
Regular8 = a reel load system

cant miss the difference.

Thanks amego, Mine definately is a cartridge load, I kinda thought it was, it just didn't say Super 8 on it so I wasn't sure. That's very good to know. I'm a little disapointed about the auto exposure though. Wish there was something I could do about that.
