How would you guys rate the film program at the University of Texas at Arlington?

The one thing that really impressed me was that they make a 35mm feature film once every two years as part of practical/field training. and all the students get to participate in it. Would this satisfy the 'Film school VS making your own film" argument?

From their website
"Every two years, the Department offers a fully-funded "Feature Film" experience. The most recent was shot in 35mm Panavision©. The films that emerge from this class have been screened in Hollywood at the Director's Guild of America as part of the highly competitive Texas Independents Showcase Competition."
