Hi everyone,
does anyone know how to best shoot fire and an explosion of a gastruck at bright daylight? So you can see as much detail as possible? It will be shoot on negative 35mm in south Spain so there will be a lot of light.
Any idea? Suggestion?
Thank's a lot

Do you have to shoot mid-day? If the story allows, the fire will appear much brighter if shot when the ambient light is at a lower level than the 6000 or more footcandles you find on a sunny day.

Can your pyro supervisor add any color enhancers (salts) to any fuel/explosives used? Hope you have retained a certified pyro expert and gotten the necessary permissions from the authorities. SAFETY is always the first concern.
