Recently Arri unveilved their new Super 16mm film camera, Arriflex 416.

Question is, will it accept any super 16mm film stock OR will it be like Aaton's A-minima & only accept a special film stock?

It takes regular old B-Wind 400 ft rolls of single perf Kodak or Fuji. Just like the SR's.

No one is certain yet, but ARRI says they hope to sell it for the same price as the SR3 Advanced. You can read alot more about it on another post on this forum:

416, It's coming.
