Wow, what a great film, unusual story, interesting script, good acting and amazying photography; was one of the first films i've been blown away by this year.

On the other hand its very violent, and the soundtrack doesn't seem to fit.

But hey, has anybody else seen it yet? I doesn't seem to have had much of a release?

Is it still in theatres in London?

I was wanting to watch it, to see what Benoit Delhomme has been up to. In the AC article he once again said, that he only used 3 lenses. He claimed the same thing about 'The Merchant of Venice', although there we always carried 14 prime lenses and used every single one of them...

Its still in a few art cinemas scattered accross Greater London. Probably wise to pick up 'The Guide' in saturday's The Guardian, that should list where its on.

I guess his comment about the lenses could be true, but hey if you have reason to doubt it.

It's playing at the Prince Charles.

As for the AC article, well they write down what the DOP tells them, which might or might not be how it really was. I worked with another DOP who said that he was asked to provide a diagram for a lighting setup of his and when they got it, they said that is was much to simple (a blonde and a polyboard), if he could make it a bit more elaborate. Which he did. Now again that story might or might not be true, but it just goes to show that the truth is a very relative thing. And in that one instance I mentioned before, what was written was different from the reality of what happened.
