I was thinking about getting one of the new fluorescent light-panel style lights to use over the lens like an obie light or as a gentle fill on ECU's.

Anybody have any experience with these?

At 144W and 19" square, it's hard to see it being used "on board" in the traditional sense. I suppose, based on the wattage, it's comparable in output to a 2' x 4 bank Kino Flo, but for $399. I'd like to see one in action.
