Hi,

Can anyone give me some advice on the Takita Mfg Continuous film Printer?

-Does anyone have a copy of the manual that they could copy or scan for me?

-Are spares still available? Who could I ask about spares?

Thanks From,
Henry.

I have never seen one in the flesh (aluminum? cast iron?) but at one time they were I think imported by Bell & Howell and by SOS Photo-Cine-Optics. They appear to be a knock-off of the old B&H J or D printers.

Both of these companies are defunct, however the successor company to B&H Professional, BHP in Chicago, might have a lead on parts or manuals. If Petersen is also still around and supplying printers perhaps they would know something.

Here is the contact information for BHP:

No luck so far. If anyone has any recommendations on where to source parts for a 35mm Bell and Howell Model D printer I would be very greatful. (The Takita is essentially the same as a Bell and Howell).

Thanks From,
Henry.
