Video Tap for a BL2

Any ideas on what you have to do to add video assist to a BL2? The spot on top where there should be a ring for attaching an elbow is just a removable flat panel.

I assume that you open this up, replace the mirror (or whatever it is inside) with a beamsplitter (it doesn't look like a mirror and isn't oriented like I'd expect one to be). Then, I suppose you'd need to replace the panel with something that has the threaded piece to attach the elbow....

Am I going in the right direction? If so, where do I find a beamsplitter and the panel with the threaded piece?

I have a BL2 with colour video assist, the guy who runs this site installed it:

He should know a lot about this issue, I think.
