I am looking into the Letus35 35mm lens adaptor, availiable from www.letus35.com

I ask if any of you have experience with one. . .I have heard mixed reviews - some people having problems with them, others getting along very well with them. I am viewed their demo footage, and was amazed by the shallow DOF on the footage shot with the XL1. (I will be using it with a Z1.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

A friend of mine bought one. However we had to do some improvements. It came with a alu housing
in plain silver on the inside which I think is unacceptible for any optical device. So we had it anodised
in black. The nikon bayonet was machined out of a nylon block. So the lens would not mount
tight enough. We bought an old nikon SLR body just to remove the bayonet and fit in the adapter.
The ground glass uses a plane made of plastic and held by small syringes. Once the glueing
broke and the ground glass could not vibrate enough to get rid of the grain. It took quite while
to find that out and glue it back. I am not sure if the newer batch has fixed these problems.
But it works.
