Hi,

I am looking to construct my own basic lighting setup, 1x2k, 1x1k, 3x800w, 3x350w, stands, C stands, polyboard, reflector, gels, (van and generator too! haha!) etc...I came across these flourescent lamps on eBay, and think that they might be able to serve as a nice KinoFlo substitute;

Also, they do a seemingly kosher, and worthwhile tripod, with 100mm bowl, for about £200...Has anyone here, within these forums got any experience with using this company? I believe they are based in Germany, but can source to England, US etc, easily.They seem to offer low cost alternatives to the industry standards...I could stretch to the "real thing" but would like to achieve a similar effect for less money, just like everyone!

All the best
