I bought a SRII a few months back. I'm wondering what others do as regular maintenance? Do the on board batteries need to be charges every month or so? Just want to make sure it stays in good shape wile in storage.

Every month I take out my SR1 and make sure the batteries have held their charge and then run each battery and magazine for ten minutes, then pack it away. If either battery is low on charge, I recharge it during my monthly "maintenance". I also keep packets of that silica gel, or whatever it is, in the camera case to absorb any moisture that might get near the camera.
