Hey guys! I'm a little confused by the term Super 16mm. I know the difference between Super 16 and Standard 16mm cameras. But is there a difference in the film too? For example, is there Super 16mm film and Standard 16mm film? Does Super 16mm film cost more to purchase, develop, and telecine? Thanks! :)

There is no such thing as Super 16 film, there is single perf and double perf film. You can use single perf film in a regular 16 camera(that has only one set of sprocket teeth) and in all Super 16 cameras. You can use double perf in all regular 16 cameras (whether they have one set or two sets of sprocket teeth) but not on Super 16 cameras because the Super 16 image falls where the second row of perfs lie.
