Hi all

could anybody tell me which cam does shoot sharper images for example shooting a colored poisen frog ? As far as I know DVX100 series are good for broadcast but is the XL2 better for filming nature documentaries or does the DVX also do a good job for that? I guess one of the cam must have a sharper resolution and I try to figure out which it is.

Thanks for the help!

The XL2 is sharper in general and WAY shaper in 16:9 mode. The XL2 CCDs are 960X540 native and they still do some pixel shifting as well.

The CCDs are 960X480.... not 960X540, that is the HVX... anyway, my statement still holds true.
