What a 120 v lamps you wish adapting ?
If you tell about halogen lighters, you need replace of 120v lamps on 240 v version with similar sockets.
You will need think about other type of power connectors too.
Other idea, use AC240-120 v transformers. But, the high power transformers have big weight.
Other idea, use petrol generator with 120 v outpit. This type of generators can be problen in Europe.
Possible, you need rent of lighters in Europe.

You not need forger, the main power 120 v have frequency 60 hz, 240v have 50 Hz, that's why need this about speed of shooting too.

One possibility is running two equal wattage 120 volt tungsten lamps in series on the 240 volt line. A certified electrician should do the wiring.

You cannot run two lamps of different wattage in series, as the lower wattage one will be overdriven.

You can also use dimmers for the job like this one. You can trim the volts to exactly 110v-120v and keep it in that position with a duck tape!

If you're using film lights why not just buy the 240v bulbs for the lights. Seems a lot less messy and could work out cheaper in the end.
