Hello, I'm involved in updating the software for a small documentary film company. We outsource on bigger jobs and give over sound to outside studios but need to improve our own sound set up and need help in knowing what people think is the best system to invest in. Essentially we need professional broadcast quality mastering capabilities, for low budget documentary projects, where we will want to layer sound on multiple tracks and clean it up with a good amount of control. We would also like the possibilities in mixing tracks, developing soundtracks and scores. t the moment i'm really interested in going with Pro tools but there are a million different options within there software and it all seems to come with hardware so would really appreciate some guiders on what peoplee think i'm looking for and what works well with FCP and G5 set up.

kind thanks
