Hi!
I am wondering if you are supposed to shoot 4x3 or 16:9 while using the 35mm lens adapter? in the end how does the application of the 35mm lens adaptor effect the aspect ratio?

thanks.

/mikus.

It does not affect the ratio. It projects an accadamy frame (1.33) and TV happens to be a 1.33 ratio (commonly refered to as 4:3)

If you want the widescreen you should shoot 16:9 it will crop the top and bottom of the lens' view, like matting to 1.85 would do in 35mm. If you shoot with an anamorphic lens however you should not shoot 16:9. Shoot normally and stretch the image in post to 2.35.
