Hello, I was thinking of purchasing a Panasonic LH1700 for location shooting.
I know the pros and cons of crt vs lcd but has anyone used it and have any
opinions pro or con.
How well does it scale SD as well as HD?
Thanks in advance.

I think it's a pretty terrific unit. We have a number in rental and I want as many as we can get. They are a remarkable improvement over previous models. They scale quite well although they do not quite offer full HD resolution. They take just about any flavor of video one can throw at them and come with a nice waveform built in.
