Hi,

I have a PA position open on my upcoming feature. We roll cameras October 2nd in Barrie, Ont. This is a 35mm feature, 3-4 week shoot. This is a suspense thriller being shot in one of the most amazing locations in Canada that is being opened to a film shoot for the very first time.

You will work under the direction of the 1st AD, assisting him in any way. Fully paid & credited, but strictly entry level. You will receive two catered meals per day on set. You will need to provide at least one work reference and I prefer a recent graduate of a film school or senior film student.

This position is not for the following people: high school students, people with no experience that want to break into the industry, people from outside southern Ontario. (I can not fly you in from Europe so please don't ask, yes I get e-mails from people asking me things like that.)

You will need to be able to provide your own transporation to and from the set each day in Barrie. There will be several cars coming up from Toronto each day so car pooling is a real possibility. But preference will be given to a person with their own transportation.

PM me if you're interested.

Thanks
R,

Pity I'm in the US. I'll pass this onto a friend of mine from Toronto however.

I have no objection to Americans of course :)

The screenwriter and the composer are both Americans.

We just don't have budget to bring up a PA from the USA when there are tons of them in Toronto.
