Hi there
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement bulb for my eumig 604 super 8 projector?

I guess I knew this time would come someday, but the eumig has been a total tank (especially compared to the pawn shop special I had before it) and I just bought a reel of triX to make a movie of my kids at the beach. Tonight, before we left, we were going to watch the movie we made a few years ago, so they could see how little they "used" to be, but now... nothing.

My wife suggested I just show some movies I shot on my digital still instead. Jeez louise, is there no hope for my beautiful movies?

Spectra carries projector and film viewer lamps and will ship to any location. Just provide them with the 3 letter code on the side of your lamp (or projector).

Try Googling for the three digit ANSI number AND "bulb".

There's a huge range of prices for specialist bulbs like projection bulbs. Many light bulb companies are the old fashioned "list price" outfits but increasingly there's quite a few Internet bulb sellers who are real competitive. I buy lamps for my Source Fours in the $12-14 dollar range from Internet theatrical supply houses that the old line theatrical supply houses like Barbizon want as much as $28 for.

Hello,
The type of lamp you're looking for is: EFP lamp 12v 100w
(also known as: Xenophot 64627 HLX, and: EFP A1/231)
I recommend the OSRAM ones (for longer life).
It is one of the easiest type of lamps to find and replace.
Even by looking in the ebay, you'll find a good bargain for even two lamps or more, in case of a burst lamp.

Good luck.

Jonathan,

Here's where I get all my projector bulbs. Wide selection and good prices.
