Spectra Tricolor Meter - Any Good?

I've recently picked up a Spectra Tricolor Temperature Meter. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience with this and perhaps had some insights as to how it would rate against the meters from Minolta and Gossen. It's been calibrated recently and my daylight and tungsten readings seem to indicate accurate correction as the filters used are producing nice results from the lab. Just not sure how reliable this device is and if it warrants spending the money for the more expensive temp meters on the market.
