Has anyone used the optimo 17-80?

Is it color and contrast matched thru the entire zoom range? What is it optimum t stop? Would you get excelent resolution and a crisp image at T2.2 or T2.8?

Hope to get a thread going on your thoughts and feeling about that lens or even the 14-40mm optimo zoom.

Anyone, I hope everyone is well.

It's a great lens, just like the long Optimo. Like any lens it's better stopped down than wide open but with a maximum stop of T2.2 it is nearly as fast as most primes. Forget about doing handheld with it though, the speed means it's quite heavy.
