Does Anybody know of a 35mm camera that is similar to the bolex. I don't care about the spring wind up. I am looking to do a timelapse test and just wanted to see whats out there. Obiviously I would rather use a 435 with a intervalometer but this needs to be very cheap? Any help would be appreciated. thanks

The B+H Eyemo does not normally have a single frame ability. There are add-on electronic intervalometers availible for it. I have seen some Eyemo's internally modified that could only shoot single frames with its own windup spring power, but those are rather rare.

Just to tell you what's out there: The russian AKS-1 movie camera, it a world war II unit, it's spring wound, can be used with handcrank, not shure if it does single frame. I once saw an experimental film done with this camera in handcrank mode... I guess you won't find modern optics to fit this.

How to run a mitchel in singel frame was discussed before in this forum; that won't be as portable as a bolex... :D
