Hi, I'm out in the boonies and would like a little discussion on fabrics. I already have poly silk which makes some good diffusion when shining the sun, a fresnel or other hot light through it. I've noticed that there is still a specular (slight hard shadow) effect and would like to try bounce which ought to be purely diffuse without any hint of hard shadow. Catalogs list a variety of materials like poly silk, china silk, griff, sail, half-sail, silver, gold, checkerboard, black on white, white on white, muslin (bleached and unbleached), etc. Could you describe the uses and effects these materials can produce? Thanks!
