Help with understanding XLR adapters

Hi, bought a cheap camera for some work I do. Camera has stereo-miniplug-jackhole(?) for mic receiving. I'm looking for the cheapest thing that will connect the mic-xlr-camera.


Will this be acceptable...

You can use either one...

The Beach-Tech adapter will obviously offer better quality...
& it'll not have as many problems as the stereo-mini to XLR cable...
But both should work fine provided you treat them well.
